CB Automation & API Sync IAF CERTSEARCH Database
آخر تحديث في منذ 5 شهر

After installing the CB Automation App (hereafter referred to as "the App") and issuing your first Certificates, those records must be reported to the IAF CERTSEARCH Database (https://www.iafcertsearch.org). Historically a difficult manual process, the CB Automation native API integration reduces this workflow to just a few clicks.

Account Registration: Ensure you have an active, configured account with the IAF CERTSEARCH Database.

Generating the API Key: Log into your IAF CERTSEARCH account. Navigate to Import Settings > API Integration and click Generate Key. Once the key is generated, click Copy.

Configuring the App: Provide this key to your IT team or configure it directly, as follows:
   - Locate the cb_cert_functions.php file inside the /includes directory of your CB Automation
base path (e.g., C:\CB_APP\includes on Windows, or /var/www/html/cb_app/includes on
Linux).
    - Open the file using a plain text or code editor (Do not use Microsoft Word, as it may insert
hidden formatting).
    - Find the following line: define('IAF_API_KEY', 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxx');
    - Replace the default key (xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) with the exact key you copied from the IAF
CERTSEARCH Database. Do not alter any surrounding quotation marks or syntax.
Save and close the file.

The system is now authorized to transmit data.

Generating the Report:
1. Log into CB Automation and navigate to CB Cert Report.
2. In the IAF Data Manager interface, check the boxes next to the clients you wish to
report to the database.
3. Click the Preview & Edit Snapshot button.
4. This opens the IAF Data Preview screen, which automatically transliterates
Ukrainian/Russian Cyrillic names into standard English. Review and edit any data as
necessary.
5. If you make modifications, you must click Save Changes before proceeding. (Note: Saved
modifications are permanent for future reports, so verify their accuracy).
6. Once verified, click Confirm and Upload. If you need to restart the process, click Wipe
Data to reset the batch.

Confirming the Upload:
Once the report is dispatched, you will receive a JSON response file detailing exactly what
the IAF CERTSEARCH Database accepted. A successful upload will return an HTTP 200 status code, which is automatically stored in your App's logs as proof of reporting.
When returning to the CB Cert Report page, successfully reported companies will display a new
"Reported" status. To prevent duplicate data entries, these companies can no longer be selected for
initial reporting.
